Bradley H. Lehrman
Bradley H. Lehrman is the founder and President of Portage Capital, Inc., a business and venture capital consulting firm serving a select number of emerging companies with business management and investor relation services. Lehrman has an extensive background as an attorney, business advisor, private investor, and board member involved primarily in early stage venture capital transactions. Lehrman has also been an active advisor to public companies such as August Technologies [AUGT], ReliaStar [ING] Investment Research, and Chart MVE.

Lehrman is also a founder and fund manager of Portage Equity Investments; two early stage accredited venture capital funds. Portage Equity invests in software, medical device, biotech and health sciences, telecommunications, semiconductor, and IT technology companies. The fund prefers to invest $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per transaction. Portfolio liquidity events from Fund I include: August Technologies- IPO 2000; Learning Byte Int'l-Acquisition 2001; Media DVX- Acquisition 2001; Profit Solutions- Acquisition 2001.

Additional portfolio holdings include: SterilMed Inc.; Magnum Technologies Inc.; Impress Medical Inc.; Link-Up Inc; Excorp Medical Inc.; People Flow Software; Gentra Systems Inc, Remote Pipes Inc., Celleration Inc., ProUroCare, Inc., and Iconoculture Inc.

Lehrman began his professional career as a corporate attorney with the Minneapolis law firm of Larkin, Hoffman, Daly & Lindgren. He further developed his corporate legal practice as a Partner with the St. Louis law firm of Gallop, Johnson, and Neuman. Before founding Portage in 1993, Lehrman was the national director of the Social Investment Forum, an association of institutional portfolio mangers and financial professional that directed capital to socially responsible businesses.

    Lehrman is a member of The Minnesota Venture Capital Association, The Minnesota Bar Association, and serves on the University of MN Business Advisory Council, and TTAC (Technology Transfer Advisory Council) Commission for Food, Agriculture and Biological Science. Lehrman graduated from Carleton College (Northfield, MN) in 1977 with a BA in economics and received a JD from William Mitchell College of Law (St. Paul, MN) in 1981. In 2002-2003 Lehrman completed a specialized graduate course for Venture Capitalists at the University of MN Medical School.
