Bradley
H. Lehrman is the founder and President of Portage
Capital, Inc., a business and venture capital consulting
firm serving a select number of emerging companies
with business management and investor relation services.
Lehrman has an extensive background as an attorney,
business advisor, private investor, and board member
involved primarily in early stage venture capital
transactions.

Lehrman
is also a founder and fund manager of Portage Equity Investments
I, LLC and Portage Equity Investments II LP, early stage
accredited venture capital seed funds. Portage Equity funds
invests in software, Internet content and Internet enablers,
medical device, biotech, telecommunications, wireless web,
and IT technology companies. Portage Equity I preferred
to invest $50,000-100,000 per transaction. Its portfolio
investments include August Technologies Inc., Learning Byte
International Inc., Media DVX Inc., Point Cloud Inc., Profit
Solutions, Inc. and InAlysys Inc. Lehrman
is also a founder, advisor or Board member for Companies
such as Reliastar Investment Research, Demand Video Inc.,
Iconoculture Inc., Chart Industries, Visual Circuits, Inc.
and Kenesis Medical, Inc.
Lehrman
began his professional career as a corporate attorney with
the Minneapolis law firm of Larkin, Hoffman, Daly & Lindgren.
He further developed his corporate legal practice as a partner
with the St. Louis law firm of Gallop, Johnson, and Neuman.
Before founding Portage in 1993, Lehrman was the national
director of the Social Investment Forum, an association
of institutional portfolio mangers and financial professional
that directed capital to socially responsible businesses.
Lehrman
has dedicated a significant portion of his professional
career to community issues. He serves as a Board member
of The Minnesota Advocates For Human Rights and through
that organization has received two prestigious International
Human Rights Recognition Awards; one in 1993 and the other
in 1997 as founder of a national human rights educational
outreach program. Lehrman
also serves as a Board member for The Jewish Family and
Children's Service.
Lehrman
has lectured extensively on business and legal issues associated
with venture capital, corporate finance and business law.
Lehrman
graduated from Carleton College (Northfield, MN) in 1977
with a BA in economics and received a JD from William Mitchell
College of Law (St. Paul, MN) in 1981.
